Alia recently received some new dresses. This is a cute little Asian dress that I'm not really sure where she should wear it too.

A nice summer flower dress

Alia is going to the zoo tomorrow for the 1st time! Hope we get good pictures!

This video is just a little bit late. It's Alia, Laura, and John with those little poppy firecrackers.

Alia went swimming Monday with Mommy (me), Aunt Michelle, Uncle Eric, and David. Alia had a fun time ordering the boys to jump off the diving board or go down the windy tube slide. She also had fun being passed from person to person and then telling us to bounce her.
PS...Becca, I was able to get Alia to float on her back more this time. :) But, she wouldn't blow any bubbles. :(

Splashing around in the kids area.

Waving hi to Mommy.

So...Alia went #2 in the potty this morning!!
In other news, Grandma and Grandpa Lowery came for a visit along with Uncle Joz. Alia spent 2 days with them.

Looking at pictures with Grandma.

Working on the computer with Grandpa.

So...Alia made Grandpa and Uncle Joz wear headbands just like her. (And then wanted to hang upside down!)

Alia has learned how to make faces...

So, we've started potty training. We put her on the potty when she wakes up, before she goes to bed, when we come home from places, when we're about to leave, and anytime that she might ask. She's only asked me once and she did go potty. I'd say Alia has about a 65% success rate(of actually going when ask her to). She's only gone #1 in the potty. But, we're going to take our time with this.
Alia spent last Saturday without Mommy and Daddy. Grandma Barrett came and stayed with her though.

Playing in the puddles after the freak storm.
Grandma bought Alia a tricycle (or as Alia says, "Mycycle"

This is Grandma Barrett's favorite hairstyle to give Alia...pretty darn cute!
