Playing with cousin Harley.
Uncle Matt
Aunt Kyme
I'm really trying to work on this sitting up thing. If you prop me up, I do pretty good. :)

Alia is tons of fun right now. She entertains herself for a little while, but also loves it when B or I entertain her. She continually is working on her spitting noises. It's really cute! We are going to start vegetables this coming week. She had a good time in Illinois. She played with aunts and uncles and cousins and a future husband even!

I finally got it!

After seeing this, I thought it best to maybe not use the swing anymore. So, we bought Alia an exersaucer/jumper. She likes it so far. She can't quite reach the platform with both feet so there hasn't been any jumping or turning yet, but she seems to enjoy it.
Alia also has started cereal this week. I don't know how she has done at daycare, but last night was the first time I fed her at home. She didn't do too bad. Obviously, she didn't eat the whole bowl, but she kept opening her mouth for the spoon until she was done.
Alia had an appointment yesterday. She weighs 16 pounds, is 26 inches longs, and her head circumference was 43.5. The doctor said she is growing just fine (75th percentiles across the board). He also said she was pretty much perfect. She was happy and smiley and laughy and kicky at the doctor's office. She showed off just like I told her too. The shots weren't even that bad. She only cried a little.

So yesterday, I put Alia under her gym and sat on the couch to watch some tv. There is a big stack of magazines that blocks my view of Alia when I sit on the couch. She was making lots of noise, so I sit up a little to see her and she is on her stomach. The little stinker had rolled over without even telling me she was going to. Later I went to change from my shorts to some pants, and when I come back out from the bedroom, she is on her stomach. I had missed it again! I did finally get her to roll over for the camera, but it was very bad lighting so when I get a better video, I'll post it. B also said that during my nap Alia rolled over and then rolled back to her back the other way.
I'm so happy!!

Peek-a-boo!
All bundled up for the cold.

Sorry for the lack of update, but I've been really busy. Alia still hasn't rolled over on her own. We haven't started solid food yet(waiting for when I have more time). However, I think Alia has hit a lot of little milestones. She's been trying to put everything in her mouth for awhile now. She recognizes her bedtime routine. She doesn't fuss as much in the car. B has been working on her putting her own pacifier in. Occasionally, she holds her own bottle. She knows when I hold my hand above her stomach and move my fingers that she is about to get tickled. I think we're all just having a blast right now.

This was so precious I had to share it!
