It's official! There is an actual baby in there. AND...there's only one. :) We had our appointment today. The doctor tried to hear the heartbeat with the doppler, but Little Pants (that's the baby) wasn't being so cooperative. So, the doctor went and got the ultrasound machine, and we got to see. :) It's the best thing I've ever seen (so far). The little bugger was just moving and bouncing all around. I can't wait til I can actually feel it.

11 weeks down. Still feeling good.

Ok...everyone should know that I don't particularly like pink. So that is not the part of this room that I like. What I do like and am interested in maybe doing is having our baby's name on the wall. I think it adds a nice personal touch.

Well, my blood pressure seems to be doing fine. I'm having the nurse check it at school. However, my glucose tests apparently came back high so they want me to go in and do a 3 hour test. Woo...hanson. I'll do that next weekend. 9 weeks down.

Rachel here. Well, we had our first doctor's appointment this past week. Everything is fine, for now. I went into the Lab this morning to have some glucose tests run. My blood sugar level is usually high, so they want to see if I need any medicine right now. I also have to keep a "diary" of my blood pressure. Usually, it goes back and forth between normal and high side of normal. It was high side of normal at my appointment. Other than that, nothing really is going on. I'm feeling well. I am extremely tired though, but they tell me that will go away. 8 weeks down, way too many to go. :)
