This mornings conversation.
Me: Alia, what are you holding in your hands?
Alia: (looks down) Frog!
Me: Good job! Alia, what's on your shirt?
Alia: (looks down) Flower!
Me: Good job! Alia, what's on your pants?
Alia: (looks down) I don't know!

Her first day back at daycare after Baby Ben (the owner's grandson) was born, Alia came home with a black eye.

Last week, I bought Alia some toy dress shoes. She picked out the purple ones. She had a doctor's appointment last week too. She now weighs 25 pounds and is 34 inches tall. Here are some more words that Alia can say:
I'm sorry, bless you, all done, yeah, hi, bubble, cup, book, read, down, eye, hair, head, animal, elephant, hippo, roo(kanga), turtle, Elmo, and Telly (Monster).
She roars when she sees a lion, tiger, or bear. She can also repeat the letters of the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes. (We also bought some flashcards this past week.)

Bethany gave Alia some new Nike's as a late Christmas present. Here she is displaying them.

Most of the time when I bring out the camera, she'll say cheese really quick and then take off running down the hallway. It's ok though, becuase I'm able to get pictures of her in some kind of pose when she stops at the end of the hall.

Our sweet little girl is quickly becoming a sweet little terror. It's definitely easier to handle when both of us are with her though. She likes to climb on things, tries to grab stuff off the book shelf, tries to get the remotes, and throws food everywhere that she doesn't want to eat. This last part is kinda funny because she's really learning how not to drop food on the ground when she's in her high chair. With a little patience and some smartness on our part, I think we'll be just fine though. :)

And really...who can resist this.
