Alia and I went to an event called "Cookies with Santa" today. It was held by our local magazine. During our wait before seeing Santa, and then after waiting for our picture, there were cookies and coloring pages. This was the first time that Alia has been to see Santa. She loved it. She walked in and he put her on his lap. Then they took some pictures. They talked, then hugged. This was cute because I think she wouldn't let go. It was a really long hug. Then he put her down and gave her a candy cane. Alia really wanted to see Rudolph, who was "on the roof". I told her we might see Rudolph in Illinois. She keeps asking if Santa will come to Grandma Reva's house. I assure her he will.

Today was our trip to Chuck E Cheese's to celebrate Alia being potty trained. Erica, Laura, John, and Becca came out with us. John ran around on his own. Laura and Alia spent most of the time together.
I think this was like a Noah's Ark ride or something.

Alia was talking about going to the pumpkin patch the other day. So today after church we went to Peachtree Farms. Alia was so happy and had a good time. We went on a hayride, fed goats, and Alia picked out a small pumpkin, held a bunny, and got her face painted. It was a nice afternoon. Then we all slept!

BTW - Alia has worn underwear all week and only had 2 accidents. :)

I took Alia to the Disney Live! Princess Fairy Tales show today. Becca went with us. We also met the Jones's there. It was so fun to watch Alia. She really enjoyed it and at times was squealing.
Seeing the 7 dwarves come onto the stage.

Her smile at the end of the show.

Some of my favorite people.

Alia wanted glass slippers as her souvenir.

Potty Training Talk

Saturday: Alia was in panties for about 1.5 hours (after our errands, before nap). She went #2 twice in the potty.
Sunday: Alia was in panties for 3 hours. No #2's, but no accidents in the panties either.

I can see the light...

Alia and Daddy watching the elephants.

The creative juices have been flowing lately. When it gets hot outside, we find things to do inside.
Last week, Alia went painting at The Mudd Room for the first time. Here is her kitty.

We've made some puppets at home this week. I think Chrissy at daycare made the one on the left. Alia made the one on the right (I drew the tree). There's also one of the table behind her that she colored.

Today, Alia made some jewelry with a friend from church.
