Alia went swimming for the first time today. She had a blast! We went to one of the public pools with my friend Becca (who was really great with Alia in the water). There's a separate kiddie play area, but the equipment was too big for Alia. She did enjoy the waterfalls though. All in all a good afternoon.

Alia had a check up on Friday. She weighs 20 pounds 3 ounces. They measured her as being 30 inches tall, but the doctor said that may have been a stretch and not to freak out if she wasn't that tall at the next appointment. Everything was pretty much fine. Her ears weren't red and there was no fluid in them. Michelle bought her a new toy Friday morning as seen in the pictures above. I'm hoping the heat starts to die down so I can feel comfortable taking her outside. I want to go to parks and go on walks and stuff. :) Almost 10 months old now...

The grand-doggies came to visit this weekend along with Grandma. The black one is Tess and the white one is Sadie. The last picture is Alia in Mommy's sunglasses. Doesn't she look cool?

We've decided we wanted to try and save some money, so we're making some of Alia's food ourselves. She had honeydew this morning for breakfast and had chicken taco salad for dinner. She'll get bananas and pasta later this week too. Hopefully, it will all be a success.
